Silent Hill

Legion

Now this series is baaad. The first episode had one of the worst directions I've ever seen in a tv series! The director sure has its own approach, but he made "art" and that's all.
You certainly would expect something crazy and confuse from the MC's POV in the first few episodes, but I hope the next episodes turn into something atleast enjoyable as a whole for the story's sake.
I'll only keep watching it for that tiny hope of some actual plot development and the fact it's a new approach to X-Men's world so I'm expecting something new to it...

Train to Busan

South Korea produces some really fun tv series, but they simply don't know how to make horror movies. Even so, I assure you this is a rare gem and one of the best zombie movies you'll ever watch in your life and by far the best from the last years!
It worked very well as both a zombie and action/drama movie. Specially good on showing how awful humans are when their lives are in the stake and the only reason I don't give it a 10 is thanks to the way that was highlighted in the movie's ending.

The Thing

Simply the best sci-fi horror and psychological horror movie ever made, along the Alien franchise.
And both the excellent novelization by Alan Dean Foster and the videogame are as tense and diabolical on your nerves enough to make you paranoid for life (specially the game!)! Absolutely worth trying everything... if you have the nerves.
A great story that works as both sci-fi and psychological horror, creepy and very immersive soundtrack that's spooky to the bones, a great direction that keeps you paranoid wondering who's the thing (and when the assimilation happened!) until the very end, lovely acting (MacReady FTW!) and realistic setting...
This is the movie that introduced many to the love & nightmares of the horror and sci-fi universes and inspired many writers out there.

Yasha

By far one of the best and saddest TV series I've ever watched in my life. With an absolutely amazing concept & execution, it was very well written and directed. Actor Ito Hideaki at his best as twins Sei & Rin. It's my favorite Japanese tv series.

YASHA is a constant love&hate relationship with its many traumatic moments to the viewer, who suffers along the characters of such an unfair & cruel world... there is one scene in specific that makes you wanna stop watching right there out of revolt and a river of tears.
And the serie ends with a cruel yet fair ending.

Warrior Baek Dong Soo

By far, one of the best TV series I ever watched! With a fantastic story that will make you both laugh and cry, the beautiful instrumental soundtrack and great character development through the series, it`s impossible not loving it.
It has an incredible story, great soundtrack, direction and acting! I can't find a single thing bad about this series except the revolt I felt when certain characters died, but that only proves it to be an amazing series.
This series was the thing that made me start paying attention to Korean dramas and the Joseon Dynasty stories.
As a side note, I super recommend buying the OST of the series.

Madame Antoine: The Love Therapist

One of the funniest K-Dramas you'll watch!
Just like Gong Hyo-jin in the amazing series Master's Sun, Han Ye-seul brings us a refreshing character that will make you laugh and cheers for, but with less crying this time! The other characters are well developed and fun to watch as well.
If you liked the Master's Sun, you'll love Madame Antoine. It's the same directing style and fun approach, but with less drama and no tears this time. And if you never watched the former, go for it after you finish Madame Antoine.

The series was recently added to Netflix, so if you still haven't seen it, go for it!

What Happened to Monday

Rapace being weird and a great actress once again... and so Salander wins again! xD

But, seriously, Netflix brings us another enjoyable sci-fi experience.

Skyline

Your typical "stumbled" movie that starts pretty bad and then gets pretty good right in the ending.
I wish they had made a sequel just coz that ending was a totally badass plot for a great sci-fi book story!
The whole movie could be splendidly translated as a prologue chapter of a creepy interesting sci-fi novel.

One of the most disturbing things I've ever watched in my life and a perfect ending for S1 of Masters of Horror anthology!
Takashi Miike is a really disturbing person. And this is one of his best works in all his disturbing bizarre creativity! >_>

Warning: if you have any problem with needles, DO NOT watch it at all!

Multiple Personality Detective Psycho - Kazuhiko Amamiya Returns

This movie is an insult to the fantastic novel/mangá series it was based on. Go read the amazing original material!
