Really enjoyed it. The songs were catchy, characters had good chemistry, and it was visually stunning. This is the third Disney princess movie in a row that doesn't make the female lead rely on a love interest, and a rare movie that keeps her parents alive!
The kids have already asked to go see it again.
First off, my kids (daughter almost 4, and son 18 months) absolutely loved it. It was colorful, bright, and the music was really catchy. The story was easy for them to follow. There were funny beats for the adults, too. Some of the musical montages were a little overboard, however, and it made me think that whoever was the style designer for this was on ALL the drugs. It really showed the Trolls aesthetic from the 60s.
Entertaining and toe-tapping. It's one that if the kids want to watch, I'll make sure to have a book handy, but will invariably end up with the music stuck in my head.
Best episode in recent history. Gives a history to the characters without needless exposition. It kept the action moving and put the little back stories right along side it.
