Black Mirror: 6x03 Beyond the Sea

Yo mister White, we gotta go to space.
Now, this is more interesting. I'm just glad that the twist was not identity theft. Also, I think it's a huge oversight the fact that the developers did not create a replica backup OR protect the families from the very beginning. They can't risk a trauma to affect the astronauts after spending so much on the mission. David was a crazy man with nothing to lose, frankly frightening.
The ending is so pungent, with Cliff knowing that he has to endure four more years with the killer of his family, or kill him and die, unable to maintain the spaceship alone.

Black Mirror: 6x02 Loch Henry

Good execution on an overdone theme. Not very Black Mirror either. Also, the twist was obvious, because it gotta have a twist, and ofc the killer was another one or had help. Personally I thought it was Stuart.

Legion

I so wanted to quit after three episodes, but I gave it the benefit of the doubt and finished season 1.

It is so uninteresting, the characters especially. There is no reason to root for the main guys except that they're the good guys, they don't have a personality beyond their powers. It doesn't seem like a bad show, but overall it's a lot of "seen elsewhere", and slow.

Black Mirror: 6x05 Demon 79

Three out of five episodes of this season don't fit into the narrative of the series. Should we expect a turn to paranormal horror for this series? It is a good episode, it just isn't Black Mirror. Most of all, it doesn't leave you with anything at the end. There is no message, no afterthought.

Black Mirror: 6x04 Mazey Day

Well made, but very unoriginal. If this was not part of Black Mirror and I read its plot, I would have skipped it.

Anything: happens
Yoshi Toranaga: "All according to plans..."

I didn't know this was going to be only one season, which kinda explains how they could easily kill off many big characters . I honestly wanted to see some more, it's a well built background with interesting characters, and visually stunning (tho I'm not sure I am a fan of the radial blur on close-ups).

3 Body Problem

I really liked the book trilogy, it's probably my favourite sci-fi novel. Very captivating political and technological concepts.
Been waiting for this series (I haven't watched the Chinese ones but I've heard they have a big pacing problem) and I was not disappointed. Very nice to see the adaptation of the big events on screen.

The Sopranos

Entertaining, a good drama mixed with bits of comedy. Some storylines start and end with little to no consequences in my opinion, and they keep introducing new characters out of the blue with each season and talk like they've always been there.

The final season was a bit mellow in my opinion, like not much happens and it's just characters setting down. I liked the ending tho.

BLUE EYE SAMURAI

Solid series with good character depth, plot, and action.
Those who watch anime will recognize elements of series like Samurai Champloo, Afro Samurai, and even the Rose of Versaille, making it a bit derivative with little of brand new.

This World Can't Tear Me Down

I like the way it's narrated and the settings, but the message is pretty shallow in my opinion.

Black Mirror: 6x01 Joan Is Awful

Good execution, but still adds not a lot to the topic of matrix and simulation. The critics to deepfake and the industry elevate it a little.

Cunk on...

I was fun at certain points; the humor is very British. However, it overstays its welcome, and kinda grew stale with the episodes.

Fleabag

I loved the plot and the relationship between the characters, not so much the humor (most of season 1).
