this episode finally showed me that Peter Capaldi could be the doctor. He finally created his own doctor persona. I only hope that this can continue on and he can develop this to be his own doctor. I finally starting to like Peter Capaldi as the doctor it stink in a season and a half but he's starting to really develop.
I really enjoyed season one. The idea that God was going to destroy the Earth and that these people that worked for God were trying to save it was interesting. The ways that they went about trying to create the event that would save the Earth was entertaining.
season 2 is confusing. after successfully saving the Earth from destruction they are suddenly all in the dark ages. But they're not the heavenly deities that they were in season 1. they just seem to be people that are living in the dark ages.
why wouldn't they have done something to the effect of after saving the Earth God says he wants to have more of a fresh start. then bring everyone back to the dark ages. to try and create a better future. But instead of doing it from heaven where they look at monitors and try to direct people. God tells them that they need to be directing the people they're trying to save face to face.
this could have made for more of a season 1 similar situation.
Great episode. Glad to see Charlie back.
I had high hopes for Jodie's doctor. But Chris Cinbal really had some bad scripts for her. Now its her final season and the wrting gets good. I think Jodie did the best that she could with bad scripts.
definitely not a kid show. very greaty , very violent.
good character development very interesting storylines.
highly recommend
I completely disagree with danterner I thought the first episode was great
so far the storyline is going well.
The concept has potential
but probably only a three-season run depending on story development
I really enjoying this show. The character development is interesting and captivating.
after watching the first episode I find that the storyline seems a little weak. there are some strange holes in me storyline and the idea of the future of technology. a point where they steal a ship to go to the scene of the death of the main character's parents is sketchy in that the security for the ship is just one guy watching a monitor?
and then when they get to the planet and the portal opens, they just let her walk through and no one pulls out any kind of scientific instrument to inspect what the actual portal is.
Since Peter took over as the Doctor, I've been waiting for him to really develop his doctor. I was liking him in FLATLINERS, and in TIME HEIST. was really liking how this story line was developing on this ZYGON INVASION. Really not liking the the SONIC SUNGLASSES. Unless you wear glasses all the time, I don't think there is a reason to put a sonic device in glasses. I want Peter's doctor to be more FANTASTIC.
I really enjoy this episode.
I thought it was going to be one of those cliche episodes where Dean finds out that in order to rid himself of the mark of Cain that he has to destroy Cain. But So far it does not look that way.
Is Walter O'Brian writing these episodes?
They always make him out to be the hero of the show. Its not they they don't show the other charaters strengths, but he is always the best of them. What is wrong with someone else coming up with the brillant idea that saves the world? Walter can still implement it.
If they ever write and episode where Walter is kidnapped, then he will have to find a way to send a msg to his team with the idea on how to save him. But before they could save him he would implement his own plan and save himself from the kidnappers. Making his team obsolete.
I really love this show. But I'm worried about its longevity. It has started out with the unique character or Ichabod being from the past and having to fight evil in the present day.. But As Ichabod becomes more acustomed to using modern technology, the story lines will be come less and less interesting. I'm not saying they don't have talented writes but, a 10 year run is unlikly.
I did not choose to watch this show during its first run. But I deided to bing watch the entire first season.. WOW.... what a funny show. It has a predictable plot line but, still the actors and actresses are awsome in it. They all have good chemistry. The HARVARD character is hilarous.
you know what this show reminds me of, Sharknado.
poor acting , bad special effects , strange storyline.
the only difference is that Sharknado was so bad that it worked. this one is just bad.
pretty good show for being Canadian content. kind of surprised to see Jason Priestley in this role. some of the storylines seem a little strange. Jason priestley's character is a famous ex-hockey player named Shadow who is now a private eye. everyone seems to recognize him. doesn't this make it difficult to be a private eye if everyone knows who you are?
for a Canadian based television show it's actually pretty decent. it's a little strange to see Jason Priestley and a starring role. and some of the storylines seem a little bit hard to believe that he can be a private investigator when it seems that every episode they mention that he was a famous hockey star. hard to be a private investigator if everyone knows who you are.
the first season of this show was really good It really had some thought provoking storylines. seasons 2 in season 3 are very trippy.
The first couple of seasons of the show were really good. The idea that Liz was hiding her zombies and helping dissolve crimes was a decent storyline. but I guess he can't keep up storylined like that for very long.
what is the storyline developed to the point where everybody knew that zombies existed and it wasn't a secret anymore The idea that Liz would eat brains to help solve crimes wasn't so mysterious anymore It was now more of a police tool.
it's probably good that they've decided to end the series after this current season, but I still will miss the show.
I've been waiting for this doctor to develop into a doctor that is his own individual. I find that Peter Capaldi is struggling. I really enjoyed time heist and Flatliners. I like where this episode is going it just doesn't feel like peter has made the doctor his own.
wow!!!!!!! this was a very good episode.
I could see Juliette's new powers being in major storyline in the future. Of course this new power is probably going to end up being a problem so that they have to try and figure out a way to take Juliet's power away.
Interesting.... 2nd episode in and they are already humanizing the FBI Agent.
I just started watching this series. So far so good. The Pilot was pretty decent.
I'm going to go through the rest and see how the story develops.
Great episode. Although looks like agent Keen is in trouble for keeping Tom on the boat. Wonder if Raymond is going to make it go away??
This is a great show. The cast is great and the chemistry of the cast is great. I love when the best shot for a sceen is one where you can see that the one actor has obviously cracked up the other cast members. Chris D'Elia is a great comedian and you can see that he really gets into his charater of Danny. Never met Chris but, some of the Danny charater must be part of his own real personality. Nothing negative.
I have been enjoying the show. I just don't know if they can make a show just based on The Flash a long running show. I suspect it will get a 5 year run (or less) before it is pulled. I'm excited about the developement of the Grog character but, once Grog is caught the show will find it tough to continue to develope new enemys. The writers may have to go the same way as ARROW and start bringing in other Superheros to join Flash, in order to continue the story line.
I have really been enjoying this series. With Kevin and Gwen not part of the show, the charater of Rook is a good addition. It allows the the writers to have a charater that does not understand Ben and give the writers a chance to suprise the new charater wtih what Ben is. Also Rook is not a plan old charater, but a well trained plumber agent. This now allows the Ben charater to be surprised by what the Rook charater can do. 4 out of 5 stars
I love this show. I have since the early 80's.
I've only seen a couple episodes of the 1st and 2nd doctor. Ive seen all of 3, 4, 5, 6, and most of 7.
This show finally coming back in 2005 I was estatic . Thank you for bring this show back.
Amazing show. I like the twist on the VIESSEN legend.
I love that this show is going to continue. I was curious how they were going to resolve the story line about the two Audry's. or two Marra's (which ever way you look at it). Interested on how they are going to write the next season. Will Audry have the ability to change TROUBLES. Will she be able to contorls Duke. So many questions.
