The whole Kayce thing was unnecessary and kind of boring. And the way they make Jamie a total coward and a pussy is stupid

Thank God Jamie left Beth without the possibility of having her own children. Go Jamie!

"Hell, Jimmy. You're a cowboy already" What a character development for Jimmy throughout the seasons, it's been a pleasure to watch.

Really like the way they evolved Jimmy's character.

this was Beth's episode and she's giving. the writers of this show continue have a lot of respect for their audience. I love this show so much, dialogue scenes and utterances are delivered so well. Cliff-hanger or no, I'll be looking forward to the next season.

Beth’s character is now getting boring. It’s the same thing all the time. Jamie, for all his supposed intelligence and knowledge of the law, just stands in fear like a little child whenever John or Beth speak to him.
Both characters are getting past their sell by date.
Definitely the poorest season of the 4 up to now.

Meh, another pretty lackluster finale. Jimmy's sendoff was actually pretty heartwarming, though. Jimmy is definitely the winner of this show so far, somehow got free of the ranch with no consequences. They focused on Beth v Jamie for this finale and I'm just getting a little tired of this relationship. It's the same thing over and over with them and I wish the show would evolve this relationship or focus on something else. I miss the ranch v reservation plot line that is supposed to be one of the main aspects of the show but just doesn't ever get any attention. Overall a pretty tame finale that just felt a little dry and uninspired, much like this entire season.

jimmy was def the winner of the season and whole serie! I thought the brand was for life, but apparently he found a loophole. It's hard to believe he could learn, change that much and find another pretty girl in just a few months though, after years without any progress at Yellowstone.

Kayce's arc was just so random and badly written, they didn't even explain why we had to endure watching it.

The only interesting big plot for me is to show the fight for the land in our modern world with people wanting to create a new Aspen on it and indians that want to take back their land. And we got almost nothing regarding this that season... We got a beginning of an pro environnement argument, but it was a joke how they wrote it...

Frankly, either pick an interesting and smart story, or don't even bother and put some fun gang fights and humor. All this Jamie vs Beth is so annoying, I can't watch more of it.

Hoping season 5 will find a better angle or I'll stop after episode 2

Did screen-writers went on strike this season?!

Look, it was never a good show with a decent writing. It was hilarious entertainment with some pretty landscapes. There were some semblance of power struggle between one and a half decent opponents. It shouldn't be that hard to maintain.

You can't surround your main characters with easily defeatable morons for opponents. Beth and Jamie were always badly written stereotypes that barely functioned as characters. Unlike actually working and enjoyable stereotypes like John and Kayce for example. For some reason Rip always felt like only one real human being among them. But dear god, they were unwatchable this season.
And the plot was the result of meandering efforts of Beth and Jamie to push it forward.

Pretty bad season overall. Kayce’s story was just Indian mumbo jumbo. Beth is so annoying and over the top she doesn’t feel like a real person. The environmentalist storyline felt flat and out of place. The real estate / land issue, that should be the core of the story, went absolutely nowhere, barely any attention given to that at all. Only thing I enjoyed was the Jimmy redemption and the Lloyd/Walker drama and resolution.

That ending was little weak. Could've ended with some sort of cliff hanger.

Ugh... please someone just blow Beth's brains out. Come on, Jamie. I'm counting on you. We all are.

I expected a worse turn of events... I guess the writers took it easy on us this time.

That judge is the real MVP in this episode. His original sentencing was spot-on. :ok_hand_tone3:

Why didn't Beth get the name of the person who put a hit out on her family?

This was the worst episode. Most scenes were just corny!

So Jimmy really became a cowboy huh.

Rip is such a good character for beth like what he did in the opening scene and also being a good buddy for Lloyd making him his best man for his wedding.

What an anti-climatic and disappointing end for Jamie's father it was plain lazy writing. And the writers are kinda building up Jamie's to be the next big antagonist for Dutton's family next season, not a fan of that. This season they deliver again how Beth terrifies Jamie's character, always loving those scene's from both of them.
