Actually I think it was ok, not great, not terrible. Considering other Paramount's shows I've been watching. I hope and expect every following episode to be better than the next. If this was the best ep of the season, I'm afraid it'll get cancelled hard. Compared to teen wolf, the CGI was understandably better, but so far the show doesn't have that comedy character like Dylan O'Brien. Also I'm curious if the transformation is going to be a hybrid one or a full on lycan. Honestly, the hybrid stuff with glowing eyes and facial hair looks ridiculous. I'd love to see Underworld's lycans. Like the one who's going around trying to kill them all. Probably not going to happen though.

C'mon guys. It's a fantasy/(barely) horror young-adult TV show, not a Martin Scorsese movie. What's with all the negative vibes? Watch it as it was meant to be watched; just chill out and have a few moments of fun.
Could hardly get through the first episode, it’s very bad!! Bad acting, bad script, bad visual effects, and trying so hard to get in the “woke” trend that it falls in the soft porn category in some scenes. I’m not wasting any more time on this garbage. Even of Sarah Michelle Gellar is on it.

Yes. I'm watching it for Sarah Michelle Gellar. But so far it looks far more interesting than I expected.
Well the first episode was a bit of a letdown,stupid storyline and terrible acting.Had been looking forward to this so I will give it another episode but I reckon it will be getting deleted.
First episode was good IMO. I guess it is going to be just another werewolves show as it develops, but the effects and story have been favorable so far.

Nooo! It was actually kind of interesting and I wanted to know more. And it's cancelled now? :(
This is not my usual fare. I’m not that into Vampires and Werewolf myths or modern imaginings. But this one caught my attention because Sarah Michelle Gellar produced and stars in it (maybe kindling a little nostalgia). This is not the bored, privileged werewolve(s) of TWILIGHT, nor the pretentious werewolves of secret societies or long pedigreed families. This is a different spin, firmly rooted in the young adult genre, but more interested in unraveling primal urges and origin stories. The first 3 episodes took a long time to get to the meat of the plot line, but once Sarah Michelle’s character became intriguing, I was all in. There is still a lot to unpack here, I hope it gets a second season. The young cast are solid, the characters are 3 dimensional, the mystery is captivating, although I followed the clues before the reveals. I give the series a 7 (good) out of 10. [Fantasy Drama]
Could be decent without all the gay crap
Feels kinda Teen Wolf but teenier, and kinda wolfier but not in a good way. Show is ok till the season finale. Then it kinda goes to shit, with the whole each pack member gets a werewolf power, and all the kids get put in some teen angst punishment for very little to no reason. It might have made sense if they were arrested or institutionalized or other bad things happened during the season, but they don’t and there is no reason they happen at the end.
It’s an ok idea and it’s nice to watch the pack kids come together. But the season all along is about them coming together and surviving the wolf and then when they work it out in a semi smart and life preserving way. It all goes to crap and all the real world attacks them.
I think it's a nice series.
So I hope season 2 comes out.

This is kinda sorta maybe maybe not a reboot of Teen Wolf (2011). But, anyway, It's pretty good - but it took too long to get the story up and running especially since there are only 8 episodes for the season. It's like going to see a big blockbuster summer movie and then they just turn it off after 20 minutes. You want to see more, but will there be more? Sadly the show creaters dont really care about us viewers. They dont care if they bring the show back and complete the story or not. All they care about is the almighty $.
Oops! Got a little side-tracked there. But seriously, as much as I love that everyone is streaming new shows all the time nowadays, I am also getting tired of these super-short seasons (608 episodes) with an unfinished story-line and not knownif the show is even coming back again.
How I rate:
1-3 :heart: = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6 :heart: = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8 :heart: = I expect you will like this too
9-10 :heart: = movies and TV shows I really love!
The first episode was like the trailer for a show instead of an actual show.
The only thing that the show explained is that it will be using lots of unnecessary bad language.
I think comparing spinoff shows to original shows make people feel like the spinoffs are bad,, but really it's not bad, just not as good as the originals
I liked it. I wish they did not promote the show as if SMG was the lead. I am still intrigued to watch more.

Horrible teen trash. Will be cancelled after S1 and picked up by Netflix for their teen audience. Anyway... Sorry for Buffy that she didn't get a real show for her comeback. What a mess.
