loved the show , very disappointing that they cut the show when had a least 1 more season if not more.
From the final moments it seems to be the end of the show. I felt that they had another season in them for sure.
But even if this was going to be the final season, why focusing on a defeat to the Celtics?
The could have focused on the next season where they actually beat the Celtics at their own home arena.

Why have a show about the Lakers Dynasty and end the series with the ‘84 finals defeat to the Celtics? Fucking stupid.
This was a really good series and should’ve had at least one more season to finish the story properly.
I think it actually works as a series finale. It would have gotten repetitive with another season.
Horrendous ending. At least add an eighth episode to do all the futures they played out over the credits. They built foreshadowing for so many, and then just wrote two lines about each instead of filing an actual story. Terrible.
Best series finale I've seen in recent memory. I never liked the Lakers, and this series very much validates my feelings. Except for Kareem, everyone's pretty much a-holes. Also, this show made me HATE Magic Johnson. He's an entitled prick. Yes, it's fictional but he still sucks.
Wish there's a spin off or a third season that focuses on the Celtics' point of view.
