Back in the book shop near the cathedral. That's good
Patterns repeat. We had that before in previous episodes. They know their target group. ZDF primetime audience. People who think that wokeness (+ noun genders) is a topic that the next generation talks about all day (but don't realize that only they talk about it). And that's reason enough to crack some jokes about "modern times". Mix in some crazy things all young folks supposedly enjoy but that will be their undoing (social media - we had this before in a previous episode. Yoga being just another example) and writers can easily fill the first 20 minutes before that's even a crime story. That's a very annoying pattern. Next stop: a story about young low-work-ethos people who try quiet quitting if they don't get their four day week and 90% working from home time. Or something with kids that skip school (because they are lazy) and glue themselves to the tarmac instead to protest climate change.
The only thing that seems too modern are the lyrics from Jein. But even that's a very old song by now. Ollie's brief stint at MTV finally pays off ...
Yes, there's also a case. But that's mediocre Wilsberg standard.
