The interview centerpiece is among the best things they've ever done. The way it just never stop escalating. "Trust me. Gay is in. Gay is hot. I want some gay. Gay its gonna be."
Probably a top three episode of the whole show - every scene was a riot but the entire headmaster segment is the kind of wonderfully insane, relentlessly funny sitcom premise that really makes this show shine. Definitely reminded me of the episode where every character uses an artifact to disguise themselves as Nandor, in order to "help" Nandor hit on a lesbian. I love this show.
The headmaster scene was one of the best scenes of this show period
This was the fuckin worse by far
I don't think I've ever laughed as much at an episode of this show. A masterpiece.
As a fan of Impractical Jokers I had a massive grin on my face at a certain cameo. Also this is one of the funniest episodes of the entire show, it’s hilariously smart.
[7.7/10] This episode was limping along before the visit from a private school headmaster there to interview the vamps about Colin Jr.’s prospects for admission. But good lord, it’s a tour de force from there. The simple humor of the vamps trying to appear human and do “regular human things” was a big laugh in and of itself. But my god, the quick-hit humor of the lot of them trading places, identities, jobs, relationships, etc. to the chagrin of the headmaster and their neighbor was uproariously funny. What a hilarious farce the whole thing was, with energetic, absurd, editor-friendly humor that split my sides. The debates among the vamps over who should do and be what, and their awkward enthusiasm for their various roles was hilarious.
The rest of the episode isn’t bad. I like the recurring theme of selfishness, where Nandor is using all his wishes for the mystical equivalent of cosmetic surgery, Guillermo is embezzling funds from the night club to look after his friends and family while trying to bribe the camera crew, and Nadja is also embezzling but just threatens to kill anyone who tells. It’s a nice seed to plant to see what might come of all this.
Otherwise, Colin Jr. being an overactive menace and ultimately entered into various community club sports to get out all his energy is a cute little arc for this one. The build to get to the headmaster setpiece is a bit mild, and the aftermath is just okay, but that bravura sequence alone makes this one a real highlight.
I didn’t laugh once. This is a decent episode in vacuum but borderline failure for this show. The hypnosis jokes are old, and the Colin stuff was never funny in the first place.
Finally an hilarious episode this season.
Brilliant episode! I did not expect to see Sal in this show :joy: I totally lost it when at some point Nadja becomes the interviewer

Based on the comments, I'm in the minority here. But I'm just not feeling this season at all. It's a me thing though.
