"It's not the first time a beautiful woman has shit on my shoes." How do they come up with this?!

[5.0/10] Pretty dull outing for the show. I gotta admit, the Nadja doll has never really done anything for me. So centering a whole episode around searching for her seemed like a giant waste of time. The big epiphany here is supposed to be that Nadja needs to not get so swept up in her work that she neglects her emotional needs, but it’s pretty weak. The only real highlight here is the Nadja Doll’s spirit jumping into different objects, including the inflatable strike rat! Otherwise, this story went nowhere.

The B-story, with Lazlo and Colin Robinson running into a siren, wasn’t much better. I like that Lazlo and Colin have developed a friendship, and there’s something genuinely poignant about Colin Robinson falling in star-crossed love with the siren. But “Sheila” herself was annoying as all hell, and the laughs were few and far between. Frankly, the only really funny bit was Lazlo running around the electronics store, but even that smacked of cheesy product placement.

Overall, a real lowlight for the show and the season.

Nadja and doll Nadja are a hilarious and sweet dynamic we haven't seen in a while, and this episode is a great reminder of why they're so endearing. Nadja loving herself, in two ways, is genuinely heartwarming, and Demetriou shows off once again why she is such a standout on this show.

Found the siren plotline just decent, but I loveeed the Nadja doll half, especially the escalation of her finding increasing-sized, increasingly bizarre things to inhabit.

This show is one of the most consistently funny on TV right now, but that cold open with the boat was one of the most hilarious things this show has put out.
