If you've ever wondered why New Zealand keeps getting left off of maps and globes here is your answer: it's not abnormal, it's Wellington Paranormal.
This show isn't like anything else out there! Funny mocumentary about strange creatures while the police are on the case with a camera crew to document all of it.
You can feel they were having fun creating this. Great relaxing tv.
How could anyone not enjoy this understated goofy comedy. Smart stories, loveable characters, and a Maori police chief. Seriously yall, what's not to like? Can't wait for more.
It's a real fun watch. Another gem I binged over a few days.
not many things make me actually laugh out loudly but this did
It's a little bit silly but was quirky funny. Was interesting and silly. After a while you get a bit bored of the silly humor. It's alright.
Reno 911 meets the X-Files
Really fun little show from NZ. The two main characters are a comedy acting masterclass! It’s a bit like Reno 911 with monsters, except the jokes are funny. Not a show to watch in the background, you need to pay attention to this one.
Some ups and downs, but a great addition to the larger WWDitS-verse.
S4 really isn't as good as the previous ones unfortunately. Maybe the joke has worn a bit thin...
It definitely has a very specific sense of humor, not for all tastes. It's not bad, but absolutely not the smartest written. What kept throwing me off the most was the normalization of the paranormal. It read as not bright characters instead of intrinsically funny. But I do commend how they pulled through the microscopic budget that first season had. Sadly it pales dramatically in comparison if you've already watched and loved What We Do in the Shadows.
Fun little comedy about police in New Zealand who investigate paranormal activity. If you get the chance, check out the Official New Zealand Police youtube channel for some COVID-19 public health information featurettes, starring the characters from the show!

Silly little thing. Nothing compared to What We Do In The Shadows, but still fun enough
