The plot doesn’t have enough depth so the pace moves too slowly for it to be a great show. It depends solely on romance to capture it’s audience, but I found the chemistry fell short. My fault, though, I didn’t notice the genre just said [Romance] not RomCom or RomDrama.
Jeju island will always be a stand out, beautiful location to film.
KDramas always teach me something new. This one features Jeju Haenyeos, women divers who harvest the ocean without mechanical equipment. I found it interesting that these women regularly make these dangerous dives well into their 80s. I give this series a 7 (okay) out of 10.
entretaining but a bit boring at the end
A peaceful drama...love for wookie:heart::heart::heart:... loved the couple
It's a romantic drama that doesn't make you anxious and tense, but it still has a great pace.

I don't how to categorize this drama but i would call it a Slice-of-Life for now instead of the romance . Such a heat-warming village healing drama that you couldn't hate anyone even the sleazebag ex who cheated on her . Granted the only time i cried was when the 2 Mi-ja's are shown later in the shown but every character in this show has a story to tell , pain to bear and tickles to make us laugh.
While Shin Hye-Sun comeback bombded in @See you in 19th Life this is her next best work post Mr.Queen break . Ji Chang-wook finally getting good scripts ; although i wish he could do more actions but i like it he is switching between Gore (The Worst of Evil) and Melo (Welcome to Samdal-ri) to avoid his viewers getting bored.. he again showed why he is cut above his peers with showing how different characters he could present to us in a span few weeks.
Big shout out to @KimDo-eun this kid is going places ; showed such varied expression as a kid with lot of maturity ; at times her aunts and mom felt like brats infront of her.
Kim Mi Kyeong the veteran has aced again the stern mother and the grieving friend role. The comedy trio around the main leads are hilarious and good to see Sazal getting more & more mainstream roles that are less racisting.
I thanks the writers and cast for giving such a joy in tough and to showing that each has our pain to bear in loss in different ways.
