Love it. Didn't believe in it at first, but the show just captured my heart. It's sad that it's ending and I'll totally watch it all again sometime, but at least the show got a chance to end in a proper way, and the story didn't have to end out of the blue.
The first season is great but the writing gets worse by the season, with characters becoming incredibly stale and stories becoming increasingly repetitive.
Watch it through to the last episode. Trust me. I have never been on an emotional train ride as great as this show has taken me. I might be crying like a baby, but the adventures and endless wonder that this show has brought me are second to none.
For some reason, Leverage returning kinda makes me want to rewatch this show.
This show just get crappyer and crappyer after each episode...
This was a wonderful departure from Sci Fi/Syfy's usual crap offerings with pretty strong writing and wonderful characters. The premise itself is pretty fascinating and presents a interesting what-if for many historical characters. Let's say you'll never quite think of HG Wells quite the same way again after this show. The main characters themselves are pretty interesting, with nice backstories. Pete has the cool dude charm and Myka is frighteningly intelligent. There is an issue with idealisation of characters. Myka verges on a can-do Mary Sue who knows everything, and Pete's premonitory "feelings" remain unexplained. You'll also find out that Claudia and Jinks tend to this as well.
It is a show with a great start, but the sexual tension between the characters has worn out its welcome, and to a lesser extent the camaraderie as well. As the series progresses, the more you realise how forced the chemistry is between Pete and Myka. It doesn't help that they didn't hire the strongest actors to play the lead roles and many of their reactions to new artefacts seem unrealistic. Eddie McClintock's dude-next-door charm begins to get a little cloying as it isn't held up by the strongest characterisation on the writers' side. Myka doesn't get very much character development apart from her initial angst either.
Claudia was a wonderful change-up, but that's given the writers more room to create increasingly ridiculous and far-fetched plots. Seasons 1-2 are worth watching, but season 3 onwards, even with the introduction of Jinks, is not quite worth your time.
Rather annoying, don't like these Drama + Comedy mixes. Misses longer plots.
So glad they are back for this final season. Will be sad to see them go but thankful they get another season to wrap everything up. Ready for the final season? Double the goo and drive twice as fast!
Aw man, have to wait til 2013 now.
W13 returns Monday July 23Rd at 9/10c
Syfy renewed Season 4 for a 20 episode stint, and not a typical 13 episode. Additionally, H.G. Wells (Helena) is getting her own spin-off which will be set during her time, before she was bronzed.
Eddie n the new guy have chemistry. I really like the additions
This is the third time or so I've watched WH13. Generally a fun show. 'Pete' throws out some funny one liners and there's a range of great guest stars.
I don't really recommend binge watching the show because you'll notice the inordinate amount of crazy annoying times 'Myka' says Pete's name. I mean enough that you expel an 'Urrrrgh' out loud, and not just 'Pete' but 'Peeeeeeete'.
Also the show introduced a gay character but it was done well and tasteful. His preference isn't the focus, and the character isn't an obnoxious extrovert that just makes you want to turn off. A lot of newer shows could learn much from the way WH13 did it without pissing people off by pushing an overt Agenda.
Just grab some popcorn and have some fun watching Warehouse 13.
Provided I remember it is part fantasy I managed to love this right through until the last 3 episodes. Still watched them. One of those shows where it ended too soon and clearly writers were only rushed that last season.
:heart:x9
Just finished watching this show for the 4th time. It's still a great and fun show! And this one has a great and proper series finale! I can recommend this show to any and everyone that loves SciFi shows.
How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!
It’s okay to watch and fill in the time, or watch in the background. It’s light hearted and most of the characters and cast are likeable.
However, I didn’t like the actress who played Myka. Her standard of acting was poor in comparison to the rest of the cast and I found her annoying for many reasons.
The character Leena was more or less a waste of time. I felt as though they intended to have her as a main part, but quickly she didn’t contribute anything. Most of the time I wasn’t sure why she was there at all. It’s a shame as they gave her a type of power, but it wasn’t included.
The digital art throughout was extremely annoying and really cheapened the series. I realise it was low budget, but it was still awful!
Hey, there’s a lot wrong with this show, but yet I still enjoyed it as a bit of light relief.
The show you hate to love! Bad acting, cheesy special effects, silly storylines but a cast that you like (mostly) and just good clean entertainment that is so beyond any possibility of being real that it draws you in and you become a fan.
This is classic over-milking the cow.. IMO they shud have ended after S3, because after waiting almost 10 years to see the remaining seasons, it wasn't worth it. Bizarre direction, repeated characters and stories. Could have and should have been so much more.
I´m about half way through the show and decided to quit. I´m really struggling to keep going because I`m dissapointed by what this is. I thought this would be another good, serious mystery show. Instead it is at best a very light hearted version of the x-files that really has more focus on comedy than anything else. There isn´t much sense or logic in the scripts. Maybe it should have been apparent when comedy is listed first in genre. While I could live with the light-heartedness at first, it became more and more of a problem the further I watched. There are simply too many flaws.
The first season was Ok, at least there was kind of a villain. The HG Wells arch in the second was wasted because it was totally apperent what would happen. There seem to be some kind of villain in the third but as I said I´m not watching it.
The behavior of the characters, while charming and entertaining at first, really grows old during the second season as there also is nothing in terms of character developement.
Why has there always to be a whiz kid computer genious? And why are they always annoying and nerving ?
The only interesting character is Mrs. F because she is surrounded by some mystery. That alone is not enough for the whole show.
As mentioned before, too much comedy that felt forced the more the show progressed. If there were the taped laughters you would think it´s a sitcom. Less would have been more
A plus: I love all the hints and references to other shows.
All in all I feel like watching some kind of sunday morning teen show on the Disney Channel that tries to lure in some adults with the mystery part.
I was looking for a tv-show like EuReka - and guess what, this here is even better!
I very much enjoyed this show; feels a lot like The Librarians, but the chemistry between the lead actors is better, the humor is better and ... well the whole show is just better.
Watch this show when you like some sci-fi. I love how they gave this one a twist with the historical references and the stories you recognise. Added some humour and some action and it is perfect!
I loved this show. More fantasy than sci fi :) loved a lot because of tons of references, and a funny couple. In my taste, Superb!!
the end <3 .. was ...
Love the show.So mad is not renewed.
charlotte dupres was beautyful
Love this show. Love all the characters
Love em all
Just started watching it, on season 2 so far and really enjoying it - I do hope im not dissapointed as some of the posts suggest on here.
Too bad the show plunges into sub-par levels.
first two seasons were quite good, but since then it's not up to the standard, what i think is cast is trying to keep it alive, but directer is failing. so the storyline falls apart.
one of my favorites, but it's gotten a bit too dark and overwhelming for it's own good. hope it goes back to where it was in previous seasons.
watching season 4e2, and i Claudia has some killer legs in that episode.
I can't keep watching this anymore (season 4) something is missing from the previous seasons in my opinion.
Maybe not an A-list series but it's charming, got hooked right away.
Indiana Jones mixed with X-Files, but is way more fun
Another Syfy show, which is clever, fun and amazing,

Lovely ending! I really, really loved this show and it's really sad that it had to end :'(
Definitely, I'll never forget the last episode!
