The very beginning of the first episode conveys feelings to me that I cannot describe in words. I think you can call it nostalgia for something I never experienced. I wonder if this was the same feeling of 90s kids while watching this show. If you come across this anime, please bear in mind that the adaptation covers just the first 4 volumes. The complete story is more nuanced.

Romance comedy drama. A conventional love-triangle story, with a boy being taught the ropes by a ditzy but well-intentioned video-girl-come-to-life. Not the greatest characters, with only two really being developed; the animation is old but serviceable. The ending is unfortunate, overly symbolic and melodramatic, contrasting with the otherwise playful series.
