I did not like this episode much. First, I'm not happy with the cast change. Our old cast was fantastic, and there was still so much to do with them. It feels abrupt and poorly written - they're not even mentioned once! Aside from that, did they really not realize the dude was involved from his reaction to the tape? I'm not a trained detective and even I could tell you the dude was sus. Not to mention the fact they apparently sent him undercover to a hostage situation with guns without a vest?? I know this show likes killing off people who did bad things and regret it as a form of repentance, but sheesh. You'd think they'd learn after this exact situation happened in the last season's finale.
