This show started out as okay, went down a bit at the beginning of S2, sorta started picking up again towards the middle of S2, then started going downhill continuously beginning with S3. S4 was the worst. Stuck with it hoping it would improve but it just kept getting worse and worse.
-Poor acting.
-Bad writing.
- Main cast changes.
-Protagonist (Carrie) became more and more unlikable and annoying as the series went on.
So glad when it was over. By the end, I cared so little about the show and its characters that when Al got shot, I felt nothing.
I'm happy I don't have Hyperthymesia, because I can't wait to forget this show.
Whoever reads this, do yourself a favor and skip this one. If you want a good lady-cop show (or good cop-show in general), go watch The Closer.
YES!! The show has been cancelled twice, but now it's been picked up by another network for a 4th season!! Woot!!!! Cannot wait to see it!!
The general idea was great, I was looking forward to this, especially to see Poppy again... but the show ( saw 3 episodes ) bored me to hell! =(

I really enjoy this show. It did change a lot form Season 1 moving from a local metro law enforcement to a major crimes division. Something about the chemistry between Poppy and Dylan keeps me hooked.

Indeed very boring. Poor stories. Lame one liners. Who cares about her sister at this point.
Most of the flash-backs are lame. Too much teenage drama between the two main characters.
They give away the bad guy often way too early.
Only thing surprising is that this has now been renewed for 13 episodes, be it on another network, airing this summer.
If this stays as it is, expected it to be canceled for good.

It's so good that the fact that she always slips into Australian doesn't bother me or break the wall at all. She's really good. The pathos feels real.
