Lots of haters in the comments. Name me a movie that isn't predictable. Smh.... Some of you all have very sad lives.
I really enjoyed this show... Wesley Snipes to me is a great fit as Carlton - or that may just be my love and nostalgia for 90s Demolition Man speaking. Wesley and Kevin definitely worked together as brothers and gave this a good tension/love/hate combination. To me Theo Rossi was an incredible performance, especially remembering him from a much different role in Sons of Anarchy.
Overall the story might've been a bit predictable, but the music and everything kept it interesting. It was a good quick binge.
This was good...I think it was better than I was expecting. Comedians doing drama roles isn't new but with Ozark and True Story, I can see that Netflix is starting a trend. Don't know if there will be a second season considering the story is contained with very few loose ends.
Ignore all the negative comments. Shows Harts spectrum of acting. Enjoyed this.
Quite a quick watch and definitely enjoyable just not one that will stand out to me in years to come when I think back on all the great shows I've seen. It had some decent acting, the story was very linear and predictable but that's exactly what I expected from this kind of show. Due to it being a mini series I feel that it was very limited in the direction that it could take which didn't help the overall impact of the show but still an enjoyable watch.
Absolutely crap, uninteresting and seriously disappointed with yet another Kevin Hart show... if he keeps this up he'll disappear like Wesley Snipes, Nicolas Cage and Bruce Willis.
Speaking of Snipes - he's in this acting as his brother and oh dear.. maybe he should just go back to jail and re-learn his acting skills that he obviously lost while incarcerated!

Gene was the only likeable character in the whole fking series, and I didn't like how most of the other characters from the series were portrayed.
The only characters I found myself not liking in this series were Kid and C (Kid's wife was abusive and a bitch) which was all I needed from these characters because they were "supportive" of Gene and what he was doing in the whole fking series.
The director also drops in random food / grocery / liquor descriptions at odd times which made it difficult to pay attention to what was happening and what was happening at the time it was happening.
I think if the director spent more time in Gene's POV the series would have improved so much!
The series was what I expected it to be after 20 minutes into the first episode. Either I'm a psychic genius, or this show was extremely predictable.

[Netflix] Bland and predictable thriller that aims to build on the dramatic change of Kevin Hart and Wesley Snipes but giving them empty characters. It is curious to watch a series so masculinized, that it does not have the slightest shame in constructing female characters that are mere objects.

the acting was better than I suspected but the story was very predictable imo. I did get a little surprise at the very end but overall I was just kind of impatient. Not bad, a decent binge on a lazy night but nothing groundbreaking - could've been stellar with a better written set up
