First time watching this. Love Rutina's dialogue! The surround mix on this is exceptional - the scene in the gas station had me trying to figure out what was going on outside my house. Wish all shows would bother with their sound mixes like this.

Dreamy gazes, no meaning in any decision by Sookie, bad dialogues, characters who just seem to fall into one of the TV tropes... jeez it was bad
I watched a few episodes when the show originally aired, but now I'm trying to watch the whole thing for the first time. I didn't love the pilot, but it was funny to recognize so many actors that I now know from other things. Most jarring was Carrie Preston, who I mostly know as Elsbeth from The Good Wife, The Good Fight and now Elsbeth.
