For the most part it was pretty great, but interrupting the big fight of your final (season 1) episode for a 10 minute bad-guy-speech exposition dump is pretty unforgivable. Just make more episodes...
I really wanted to like this, but it's kinda just alright. Most of the characters like plain and lacking in the animation department aside from the Leading Lady, who manages to look awesome at all times. Similarly most of the animation looks very cheap aside from one "Money Shot" every two episodes. The backgrounds were consistently gorgeous. I liked the vibe of the show but the pacing of the show is all over the place. At 6 episodes its too short to really earn any of its plot twists at the end, and the way they "tied" everything together seemed lame. I'd be interested to watch another season, but I really need to temper my expectations.
The early episodes gave me film Constantine vibes. But the constant back and forth between present and flashback storytelling was confusing.
The graphics/animations are nice and that's all I can say about this. Skip it and save some precious time
