Hearing that song now just makes my skin crawl. It’s so pretentious. Nothing of what they’re doing has anything to do with “preserving a species”. Not the way people think of it, that noble goal to save what humanity is destroying. More like preserving in a jar filled with go. Its not about the animals. It’s just about the money, and the fame. Disgusting, really. If they were actual legitimate zoos, we’d hear of them rewilding their animals. If you’re doing none of that, you’re not doing the “preserving the species” the way you make believe.

If this wasn't a documentary, featuring the actual players, no one would believe a second of it. All the primary characters are cartoonish pieces of garage.
