Wow, I really loved the character of Audrey. This is how you build emotional ties, in the end I cared more about what happened to her than the main characters. A very poignant ending.
In this episode, Reyes falls into a coma. It wouldn't be Season 9 of the X-Files without it happening to someone every week. I was looking forward to this after struggling to get through yet another two-part mythology story. "Audrey Pauley" had come highly recommended but honestly I found it pretty dull. Having to see another random cast member wake from a coma again is an indication of ridiculously lazy writing. Or to be fair, maybe poor sequencing of episodes.
