Mulder: "Well, with how i've been framed or because of this aneurysm, if we call the police then i'll probably go to prison for the rest of my life"
Scully: "Let's call the police, i'm sure they will figure it all out. I'll do other stuff to try and help"
Mulder: "Yeah good idea, i trust them. I'm sure they will be on my side. And i'm sure cancer man will stay out of this too and not help to frame me and shut down the x files like he has tried before"
Sigh.
Further obfuscation of Mulder's family. What really happened with Samantha? There's been various possibilities posed. Who is his father? It's unclear.
Ugh.
I just don't care.
Bit of a weak entry with no real sci-fi content. There are elements of intrigue but then it doesn't really go anywhere and isn't fully resolved.
Scully gets on my nerves like 98% of the time... But in this episode she really went out there for Mulder... "Let it go".
Powerful stuff... I wish I had a woman that would do that... Everyone shud have someone that would do that.
Mulder wakes up in a hotel and slowly recalls Samantha's abduction. However, he has been somehow involved in the death of a couple, one of whom is an abductee. I've never really cared for this one that much. I find Mulder's character to be very self-absorbed while Scully fights her life and death battle. If Skinner knew that the Cigarette Smoking Man held the key to curing Scully back in "Zero Sum", you'd think Mulder, for as close as he is to all the players would have taken more time to help her.

28:50. This episode deserves no stars simply because of this parking job. Wow. Scully should be jailed for this. No one who parks like this should be allowed to carry a weapon or dispense "justice". This typed, I enjoy a good DOA/Memento style yarn. This isn't the worst episode.
This is yet another episode that brings up intriguing ideas, but fails to follow-up or conclude any of them. It adds yet more questions to the jumbled mess that is The X-Files. It long ago became apparent that the show has no direction or rules. Still, I did find this to be one of the better episodes, even though it wasn't a MOTW (monster of the week) type episode, which are usually better.
