This is not as good as Part One of the story, "Tempus Fugit". I thought the abduction scene was good, primarily the way that the director stopped time and the plane to abduct the character carrying the alien device. "Max" is fondly dismissed by Mulder, and Scully mourns the loss of her friend. Her long monologue at the end of this episode about what the Apollo 11 key-chain that Mulder gives her 'means' is uncomfortably awkward.
