This ep is absolutely hilarious. All the lines are golden. Why isn't this show a comedy all the time??
Hilarious Episode! “It appears that cockroaches are mortally attacking people.”
I love this episode! So funny, sharp dialogue and Scully is mostly right for a change! Also, it made me realize that I don't have a big problem with insects. :)
the grossest x-files episode, an hour long cringefest.
This is your brain on The X-Files. Episode executive produced by Nancy Reagan.
Who woulda' thunk? A standalone first-time comedic episode three seasons in would not only be my favorite, but the best written, to date? It also stayed true to the spirt of the show, unlike several "serious" episodes, including the prior episode, which happened to be one of my least favorites. Please don't let this have been an anomaly.
This is a stand out episode
BEST EPISODE IN TELEVISION HISTORY
The one about bugs and Bambi.
Another very funny episode written by Darin Morgan. This is the one where a cockroach crawls across the screen. When it originally aired, I recall some viewers thought a roach was actually on their TVs. Well, at least that was a rumor.
Secondary Characters in this episode: None
How had I forgotten about this terrific episode? It's been a while since I've watched season 3 and while I remembered a handful of highlights this one somehow managed to slip my mind. Darin Morgan is once again (and unsurprisingly) the brains behind a very funny entry in the series - so many snappy one-liners in addition to a great story.
I haven't even made it to the opening credits and I'm already squirming in my seat. This is going to be a very scary episode for me personally, I can already tell. Ugh.

"just because i work for the federal government doesn't mean i'm an expert on cockroaches" so many hilarious lines in this episode!
