Without spoiling anything, get ready to experience some major feels in this episode. So sad :(
The episode itself was great though. The Trashman was brutal. I will say the only thing I was disappointed about was the fact this wasn't related at all to the infamous fourth season episode "Home". I saw the title was "Home Again" and was sooooo hoping it was a continuation of that one since the brother/father and mother of the Peacocks got away. Oh well.
Bring back the alien story line. Enough of the supernatural episodes
LOVING how much the reboot has in common with Supernatural! A combination of a golem and a tulpa??? awesome! But oh man, sad stuff otherwise.
The villain looked like one of the rebel aliens at the start, and it would have been nice if it was and have that storyline resolved, but nevermind.
When writers run out of imagination, do they just go after the family of the main characters and make them suffer?
They even kill off Scully's mother. In a 6 episode revival series 15 years after the show ended. And there's some nonsense about Scully's mother talking about her youngest son who we've never heard of.
Stupid.
It can partially be excused due to the age of Scully's mother, but i still don't like it. It was nice seeing the actress again though.
It's confirmed in this episode when Scully said she gave William away that the previous scenes that Scully and Mulder had with William were just dream scenes basically.
The case itself is much undercooked and has an unsatisfying ending. Mulder and Scully don't interact with the entity at all. While there is some interesting points in regard to the homeless and society's role in the homeless, the plot and villain itself and how it was created isn't that interesting.
Personally, i would rather have had a full episode dedicated to the existential journey around Scully's mother and of grief, or had the full episode dedicated to the case. By mixing the two it feels jumbled, and the writer director Glen Morgan didn't have enough talent to balance them nor enough time to adequately tell both parts of the story.
This plays a lot like it's trying to be a mini-version of the old Season 5 multi-parter "Redux/Redux II". Not to be entirely cynical but this feels like a showcase for the actors to perform a heavy drama. The fact that Scully's Mom triggers regret about Scully giving up her son seems misplaced in this rebirth of the series. The "band-aid nose man" is kind of scary and brings the gross, but it's all secondary to Scully's personal struggles.
Secondary characters in this episode: Scully's Mom
Supernatural is actually really good this season, so don't hate on a show that has been on for almost 11 years. But X-Files is still in Limbo right now, so just give it some time. I actually kinda enjoyed this episode. Really interesting MOTW.
The monster was well designed.
Unfortunately everything else was mediocre.
To see stupid episodes like this we already have Supernatural where at least the two men are younger and hotter than the old Duchovny (this last part was a joke, ok? lol)
Cleaning the garbage dump, very brutally
Si creaste el problema, si fue idea tuya... eres responsable. Lo ocultaste para que no fuera problema tuyo, pero eres igual de malo que aquellos a quienes odias.
Was waiting little more about the episode, what a let down it was. It was sad, indeed,
It's getting worse than Supernatural

The previous episode was funny and charming. This one is more sad.
