The show is taking a great turn. The Whisperers seems really scary and I can't wait to find out more about them, it brings a whole new dynamic to the show. Now I catch myself looking at walkers and thinking 'are they really dead or...'

Negan's little trip outside was nice, it seemed to bring his days as a villain to an end and I even found myself feeling a bit sorry for him. Glad his story continues with Alexandria for now.

Poor Eugene. Just... Poor Eugene.

"Home sweet home."
I am a little sad he went out and didn't stay in the cell, but on the other hand he was over six years in there.
In the comics it was never that long, so it's harder to stay.
Nethertheless I enjoyed his short journey.
His Little walk through Alexandria was well shot.
The Trip outside was also pretty cool.
Western-Vibe Incoming.
Was that the wood glade from his first encounter?
If it was: Nice touch.
And the cool looking Walkers are back.
I just hope he gets his Leather Jacket back.

"I said I would shoot you."
Him and Judith are getting along.
(Rick would turn over in his…
Oh wait. There was something.)

"I'm Lydia."
Daryl is a clever guy.
Just let the younglings talk.
And Micchone is right.
He has a feeling for who to trust and who don't.

"Trail ends here."
It's just getting started :D

Season 9 so far is a real rollercoaster qualitywise. The first 4-5 episodes were so bad that I really thought about quit watching since Season 6 through 8 weren't really to my liking ether. But after that imo really bad start of S9 it's picking up the pace. I especially like the new "setting" after the last time jump. I hope it's keeping it up. And so far I don't miss Rick or Maggie at all. So bring it on TWD.

The recoil of that gun would knock a hole in that kids head. Fucking pathetic kid actors.

I have a weird feeling that Negan will eventually join Alexandra in the fight against whoever these new folks are.

Rick's daughter needs to slow the fuck down before she gets herself killed.

Anyway,

This episode was a nothing burger.

I can't believe I've waited 2 months for this shit! I thought about evolved zombies but all we got was men wearing masks!!

The 9th season is back, and I gotta admit that for a long time, this show hasn't looked and felt this good. Though it's not pure perfection, I really like the direction, where the show is going.

Clearly, The Whisperers are here to stay. And I'm glad they are because I think they are truly reviving this already half-dead show. And, in addition, they are really well implemented. Great job!

Looking forward to the next episodes!

cool ass episode. nice to see negan going round, feels like that cell really humbled him. judith’s actress is great for a child actress and her scenes w/ negan are great.

“language! i’m a kid, asshole”

also the new whisperers shit is entertaining as. it’s really just something new and i hope it stays this way. also loving the new gang, especially having recognised luke’s actor from his role as the uncle in the goldbergs. hs’s reminding me more and more of jack black in school of rock .

daryl has been an absolute badass too. nice to see more of him.

I know they want us to think Judith's a badass and all like Mini-prick but god her scenes are plain awful.
And that fucking drunk ass punk should stfu and serve his jail sentence instead of meddling with an important interrogation.

So why didn’t they even worry about Jesus becoming a zombie ? He was only stabbed in the back. Did the show forget the rules ?

The Whisperers are a great thing for the show. I wish they came before. they are terrifying and that’s a great thing.

Negan encounters Judith as he tries escape Alexandira and she let's him leave. On his own, he goes shopping and makes his way back to the Sanctuary. Upon realizing there is nothing left for him outside Alexandria he decides to go back and tells Judith that when he approaches her. Michonne and the others fight off more walkers/Whisperers and escape. They come across some more and they take a Whisperer back with them. They come back to Hilltop and prepare to bury Jesus. Rosita tells Siddiq that she's pregnant. Michonne and Daryl interrogate the Whisperer. Alden and Luke, who were sent from Hilltop to look for Michonne and the others come across a group of Whisperers who surround them at gunpoint. Interesting start to the second half of the season, can't wait to see what's next from the Whisperers.

Battle not cattle and NOT more decomposed

How come internal combustion engines still work? Are they using alternative fuels? When did Neagan escape, myst have missed that. If that Zombie in old compound had been there since the cattle several years previously why was it more decomposed. Are the human zombies using Zombie masks or real human masks? I really like the wind up torch. It's so damn useful! Not a bad episode, just a little boring.

Pretty strong start into 9B, I like that they've kept the whispers to be quite eerie, and hope they continue to hold that up. Not sure what they plan on doing with Negan but I did like watching his little adventure this episode. Still a few slow moments and didn't think it needed to be extra long but overall, a decent episode

I enjoyed this episode a lot although I'm still kinda pissed that they killed off Jesus so abruptly - definitely didn't feel like he met his full potential, which he could have achieved what with the recent thinning of the cast. Kind of kept expecting/hoping he'd suddenly regain consciousness and be alive after all, but oh well. Enjoyed the cliffhanger even if Alden and Luke being magically surrounded by, what looked like, a dozen walkers/whispers was both unbelievable and cliched for TWD.

The Walking Dead S9E9 has moved to Monday night? TWD has always been on Sunday nights. 2/11 is a Monday.
