I completely forgot how Merle died, I really thought Daryl was the one who killed him before he turns. Governor really killed a lot of Ricks allies in this arc, completely forgot that too. But this is my first time to rewatch this series since the first time I've seen it.
And I also hated the fact that they didn't make this single episode dedicated to Merle. I was annoyed with the Glenn and Maggie subplot for this episode. That could be include in another episode.
Merle was truly the black ship of Ricks group and a late bloomer like what Carol said to him. If only he turned back with Michone he will be really an official member of Rick's group.
R.I.P Merle.
The only reason this episode got 7 from me was that we finally got rid of that bloody Merle.

damn this show does redemption arcs so well. why am i sad that merle is dead. poor daryl :(

Merle is always a big boy trying to be the big brother. But haste makes waste and he was not strong enough inside to make a better choice. Felt sorry for him.
