This episode was so bad, it felt more like 2 hours than 40 minutes.
Okay, I get biological children are important to a lot of people, but it feels kind of wrong for Elena to say that she will never be able to have a family as a vampire because she and Damon could very feasibly adopt children, raise them, and ultimately offer them the choice to become vampires themselves. Sure, if they refuse it might hurt to see them grow old and die, but that's the way with all of their non-vampire relationships.
Damon and Elena love for each other is just heartwarming!
