"A Day In Beaumont" is a fun tribute to sci-fi flicks of the past. I love the Sci-Fi related name drops throughout this episode. The "Bradbury" ray, the towns of "Beaumont" and "Willoughby", the pinkies sticking out as a nod to "The Invaders"...all of these things make the episode more enjoyable. The ending is not a surprise but as a plus, the locust-headed aliens are neat. It's an entertaining enough story even though most of the special effects show their age.
