OMG am I in the twilight zone? This literally is what I see in our Whitehouse currently with that child Trump. Get me out of the twilight zone now...

Where are the big twists? This episode was predictable through and through.

Welp... y'all put Trump in the White House and made the "cash me outside" girl famous... this is really not that far off :type_4:‍♀

And here I thought Twilight Zone was supposed to have believable character, but creative and absurd situations. This had literally neither. Would have been better as a Goosebumps story, and even that's an insult to Goosebumps creativity.

Requires some suspension of disbelief (after all, anything can and will happen in the Twilight Zone).

But it's not wrong.

We live in dangerous times and need to be extra mindful of the choices we make, not only for our own sake, but also for the part we play in the grand scheme of things.

Raff made his choices out of ambition and a need for redemption.
He went by blind faith and turned his head the other way even after Oliver gave him a peek of his true color.

Raff was driven by a selfish need to regain his lost status, that old prestige as the wunderkind.
And look where that got him.

This episode felt like a summary for the actual episode.

I'll still wait for an good episode, or even a mediocre episode. honestly even the worst episode of the 2000s twilight zone was better than what we've got here so far.

The plot for this episode is just wildly unbelievable. Who would ever believe that a spoiled child that cheats at golf, hasn't a clue how to govern, insults everyone around himself, wants to fire all who disagree with his policies, expects absolute loyalty from his staff and has visions of absolute power, could ever become president of the United States?

What an absolute stinker of an episode - Numerous times a reboot has been attempted - all failed. With the quality of this latest episode, it's not hard to see why. Utter predictable rubbish. I'm done. Five travesties to the good name of The Twilight Zone in, and has gradually got worse. I didn't think it was possible to top the sheer idiocy of #1 The Comedian, but this one managed it and then some!

They really jumped the shark with this show. I’ve checked out. Can’t watch anymore of this abomination to a legendary show. Hope they will shelf whatever they have left and lock them away. Maybe use them as a torcher tool for terrorists.

Probably the worst episode I've watched thus far. Didn't enjoy it at all. The concept is just lame and it's just a viewing embarassment.

Boo that was terrible. Fail.

The beginning of the episode reminded me of Person of Interest 4x05. Even the music seemed like an homage.
The rest was predictable and the parallels are pretty clear here.
Felt a bit like a Black Mirror episode actually.

I'm sorry for those who didn't like it, but this episode is very intelligent because it's about the political mentality that is necessary to govern a country. I related that a lot with my country in the last 4 years and it was more like an allegory of the absurd.

So weird. This episode was supposed to be about trump, but in reality the current occupant of the White House us the one destroying America. FJB!

This was the worst episode ever, boring rubbish acting and o absolutely can't stand
Jacob Tremblay, can't seem yo get away from him of late. I hated everything todo with this
Episode it just wasn't interesting, more Tokenism
Lefty Agenda BS.
This series has gone down hill in a hurry and is nowhere near the greatness of the original and to say it is, is absolute disrespect to the original.
Am just about out of this
bs series, bored uninvested and much much+ better out there worthy of my viewing Time. Every episode is Total bull-crap apart from 1 which was one of the best I have ever seen, new series are old.
Can you guess to which one I referre to.

Down there with Not All Men as the worst episodes of the season. It's so clear with this message and I don't like Trump either. But setting that aside even I hate this political message. The whole point of The Twilight Zone is to lose yourself in a story and see a dark twist. Most of these episodes have some political crap which is not what the original show did.

If I were to rewrite I'd have it be not like any president in history but a liked one. Not putting any message behind the episode. Instead going with that shooting done to the president himself. The shooter would be a time traveler who was sent back in time to do so. However you could have the twist be his close friend who supported the election. Or something I don't know anything wild with a good twist. Someone can probably do a better one, maybe the killer also did the John F Kennedy one.

Feels like the writers of the movie North did a Twilight Zone episode.

I hope, now that I've seen this bad show so far, they'll never make a new outer limits.

The episode was great. Of course if you are a Trump supporter, you'll hate it.

The first four episodes of the season have been decent, this one was utter tripe. No empathy generated for any of the characters, totally unbelievable story, no surprise ending, what a load of rubbish.
