I was really hoping we'd get to see a few more familiar faces this season, but unfortunately we didn't. It seems that Edlund doesn't want to use any of the characters that weren't in his original comic run, which is fine (I guess), and they can't use characters from the other two TV series due to licensing issues.
HOWEVER...we finally got to see one in this episode! A little bit! In the scene where Rathbone is laying dead on the table in the morgue, and his black hole heart opens up, tentacles shoot out, and a single word is uttered: Thrakkorzog!
Oh, man... This show and its cliffhangers! The Tick sure does know how to leave us itching for more. I have no idea if this show has been renewed, but I really hope so, it's just too much fun to simply stop here.
I just wish that, somehow, we could have The Terror back, since I feel that he managed to keep the first season a tad more entertaining. No villain is as ludicrous as he was.

Oh what an epic final season. what happened with superian? Is a fugitive of another planet? I hope the third season. What amazing show funny great epic. And Arthur is... special.
