The Thin Blue Line 1995

Probably one of the less known Rowan Atkinson shows, "The Thin Blue Line" still has everything that made Atkinson great. If you liked Mr. Bean or the Blackadder you should like this as well. At times though James Dreyfus is stealing the show with his performance as Constable Goody.

Top comedy. I've rewatched this a couple of times and it stays that good. This how has way too many comments and ratings. People should all stop fannying about and start watching this show!

I remember first learning about this show. My parents saw a DVD at the store and got interested, noticing that on the cover it mentioned Mr Bean. Expecting traditional Bean antics, there were disappointed with the show and dropped it after a few episodes. I, on the other hand, was hooked. This is Rowan Atkinson in his prime: eloquent, physical and even charming. It's an insanely witty show that I still remember fondly. Worth a watch and a rewatch.
