Wasn't too keen on this one. The characters range from generic to annoying and aren't very memorable. The story is convoluted and has far too much exposition, spending most of its time just trying to explain things to the viewer instead of simply showing them. This was especially true towards the end, which felt really tedious to get through, with all of its plot-heavy dialogue.
The art direction is fairly good throughout, with some nice use of shadows and cool looking camera angles. Some of the animation is fairly limited, but that's to be expected from a TV series from this era. Still, it does come off as a little low-budget at times.
In any case, I feel like the series is mostly just style and no substance...
