Hey, you know, you folks aren’t gonna believe this, but the Sopranos? Pretty good!

I knew therapy was involved, but I didn’t know how key it was, and it’s such a strong conceit that instantly gives the series its own identity and puts its themes on display. Tony isn’t a good person by any stretch. But he is a person, human, and that humanity fuels the evil inside. Therapy might help him funnel it, but even here he weaponizes the methods of it, applies the same methods his therapist used on him onto Christopher and others. It instantly makes me want to see more, see Tony’s progress. Especially his progress into what.

I want to learn more about every single one of those characters and families. I want to know what Tony exactly does for a living and why he's so sad. Very promising premiere.

Tony's mother is the definition of a Baby Boomer act "oh in my time things were better" hahaha

Great pilot. All those movie references flew over my head as a teenager. Also all the talk about men and mental health feels very relevant in 2021.

Not sure what to make of this yet but the episode felt like a live casting of a GTA Vice City quest.

Feeling nostalgic about a show I've never seen before.
