Football in groin! Ha ha ha ha ha!

Maybe not the best plotted episode of the show, and the heart is a little shoe-horned in, but man does the show make up for it in comedy. So many classic lines, like "That's the joke" and "I said the quiet part loud and the loud part quiet," and "I was saying boo-urns" Nearly everything involved in Burns' movie's casting and production was great, and for all the concerns about Jay Sherman's crossover, it was, outside of a few amusing fourth wall gags, a non-event. Seeing a soulful side of Barney, and getting a rushed-if-nice story about Homer finding a little depth were each solid parts of the episode, but for the most part "A Star Is Burns" runs on laughs, and there's nothing wrong with that when the laughs are this great.

I'd say it's pretty skippable.

There's like, 2 quotable lines - but it's fairly forgettable otherwise.
