The ep seems to be rushed. Many things happening in no so much time. Sorry for Jackson - he was such a nice character. Unfortunately, Titus (actor) and showrunners confirmed he left the show for good.
Nah. this one didn't do it for me.
Operating in another country, on their own, killing a major druglord...
Sure, a bunch of cops are going to ride off to a foreign country and take down a queen pin...totally plausible....can you say "saltó el tiburón"?
So they spend 3 seasons doing things strictly by the book and then they go to another country by themselves and kill a major drug lord. Believable.
So Wesley flies to Guatemala, is arrested by cops, is taken to a drug cartel stronghold, with an effin syringe full of medication in his pocket??? FFS what nonsense.
Not even Narcos went this balls to the walls and that was a show about actual DEA … so stupid when they take it this far, they’re normal cops ffs.
Probably the worst episode so far. This was a cop show with no setup for them to go rogue like this. I'll be glad when this storyline is done.
It's too bad they had to kill off Jackson because Makin didn't want to return. I was just starting to like the character.
The take matters into tour own hands nature of the episode just doesn't fit the series. And way to make a potential enemy of the Maxes...
Also, I can't believe nobody asked how or where the intel on Lopez came from! Really, not one cop wants to know where information that the DEA doesn't have came from? Really? NFW.
They have La Fiera dead to rights. Just shoot her and be done with her. Stupid!
At least Lopez shoots her a couple times before getting into the chopper. Though La Fiera shouldn't have ever had a chance to fire on them.
not going to lie it doesn't feel the same with our boy Jackson! either way i was so surprised that she named her baby after Jackson
This was like a low budget 43 minute black ops movie, lol!
Nice clean and simple rescue mission. I bet Jackson's still alive struggling for his life somewhere.
It looks like they're going to kill off Jackson in this episode.
Please. No Lucy/Tim romance! Let's keep the show as a light hearted cop serial and not a soap opera.
i will ignore all BS except one thing .. why the hell you getting guns if you won't used them .. first at the hospital they could easy shoot everyone there and go to helicopter.. and second one with Nolan he went attacking 2 trained killers With a fucking stick why the fuck you pick the gun and load it for showing off ?!!!! (some people will say ohh because they are not killers , but they are not cops at that moment and if you can't kill why even try to go and rescue someone when you will just make it worst )..
just one emoji :slightly_frowning: so sad
the way they get Jackson off the show is weird...i have learned that in cop shows starting with Chicago pd...some will act like to do things by the book until it's them or someone they care about is danger or worse....... without Jackson idk how I will feel until I catch up with the rest of the show...
Honestly, didn't even remember that West got taken as well in the cliffhanger, just Lopez... but was it said somewhere that his body was found? I mean, we just see them load the body into the trunk of that car, but not that the car was left in the parking lot. I guess the actor wanted to leave the show, so that's why we don't get any teary-eyed scenes where he dies in somebody's arms or so.
The rescue... okay, ordinary police invades Guatemala... let's just be happy that they aren't caught. At least la fiera is dead, but that crazy underling isn't, so at some point that leaves room for some kind of follow-up. Especially since we know that the police in Guatemala is in la fiera's pocket. So who knows who long she's going to stay in prison? And Wesley... I see much corruption etc in the future, dancing with the devil here. But I'd really like some light-hearted episodes. And please spare me Lucy/Tim!!
Awwwww man not my boy Jackson!!!!! I was hoping that he wasn't actually dead!!! Smh
At first I thought it wasn’t Jackson or it was a decoy , then read the actor abruptly quit the show so I guess Jackson is defiantly gone
It was a good episode, don't get me wrong, but everything went by too quickly. I expected the rescue to take 2 or 3 episodes, you can't seriously use 10 hours to do all of that so easily. Then the death of Jackson came out of nothing for me, he had such a great development last season for him to just die like this. The episode felt rushed for me, I think they could have used 1 or 2 more episodes to do everything. Because of this rush, I feel some things were done wrong and definitely would have been better with more time. Overall I give it a 7 because even though it was rushed, it still had some upsides to it that we will be able to explore this season like a possible relationship between Lucy and Tim, the new life of Nolan as a P2. Also, I am curious to see the repercussions of Weslie as a dirty lawyer. A toast for a better season than the one before

Here's hoping Season 4 is better (cough: less political and more fun like S1&2) than Season 3. Fingers crossed!
