2x23 The Unbefriended

The writers have been prolonging this decision for the majority of this season (it feels) just to end the season like this?
I mean, The Resident is somewhat predictable in a lot of ways but to use this as a cliffhanger is just poor even by these writers standards.
It's a cheap shot at raising the amount of viewers and ratings. Lame.

OMG they can't do this to us!! I mean let us wait this long to find out who it is... i think it's Kyle and we will find out something really bad next season like he wasn't their dad or something amazing season, this one flew by!

Omg what a ending for the season, I wonder who might die beginning of season 3

Obviously we don't know who died... I think it's Kyle though and this way, we will never know what he would have told Nic...
