The whole thing turned out to be a sad disappointment. There were so many interesting places this show could go, themes and characters to explore – but instead it just went nowhere and took an extremely uninteresting and chaotic way to get there.
Wasted potential once again. Kate Winslet is immense. Matthias is immense. The acting was phenomenal, full stop. The dialogue and dramatisation was insanly hypnotising, I couldn't take my eyes and ears off any monologue. The comedy isn't necessarily funny but outrageous enough to make your whole face blink. The story was strongly driven by real-life political and personal issues, and I loved it. The plot became really rushed, unfortunately. The juice was definitely there, but the juicing wasn't. I know we shouldn't get every answer, but we shouldn't be left with 99 questions. I just wish they had given us more.
This show started really strongly with 2-3 hilarious episodes, but then it just went off a cliff. Episodes 4-6 went very steeply downhill. It's one I really can't see myself being even remotely interested in re-watching.
Watched a few episodes and it left a "bitter taste in my mouth."
The first few episodes were intriguing but the show soon took a downward spiral quickly afterwards.
Horrible and wouldn't recommend.
Gave it 20 minutes and that was more than enough... no reason to expect it to go from a 1/10 to 8/10 from that point on.
I don't think the people that made this show know what they are trying to make. Is it a comedy or a drama or a dramedy? It's none of those, but it is a mess.
Side note: Why does every other word have to be the F-bomb?
Oh, wait.. my theory has always been it's because the writers don't have anything to say... so just swear - that'll keep people interested.
I still stand by that theory after watching this crap.

Interesting and well-produced, but no point. Much like most regimes today. You get the same thing on the news.
I haven't even seen it yet, BUT..., with all of the 10/10 reviews, AND the 1/10 reviews, you know it's a quality show. Nobody gives it 5/10, 6/10. You either love it or hate it. There's a good chance it's all teenagers giving it bad reviews, and today's sensitive teenagers brains don't have the perspective, knowledge, or patience, to get into something historical with dry humor attached.
Masters of the Air was amazing and evoked feelings in every show. Had about the same score as this. Too many kids judging these shows meant for mature audiences.
Really disappointed with it. Maybe I had too many expectations. Probably will appease some people for the novelty. For me it was really boring and too absurd, but without the humor (at least for me).
I usually don't spend time talking about the shows I don't like, but I was really hoping for this one. I couldn't even finish the first episode.

I don't get what this show is trying to be? A comedy? Drama? The tone feels like that Netflix show Space Force, we're supposed to laugh but it's just not funny.
