A young hunky rebellious athletic A student doesn't realize he is adopted is secretly a wizard / vampire hunter / spy / alien / secret agent, but once he learns, quickly excels at the secret arts that others took their whole life to master, then wrestles between his old and new worlds.
It's woefully lacking in originality, with some typical teenage acting skills, but is actually better than many others in this genre, and I feel could have actually become an ok series. It's not great, but if you are into stuff derived from comics, you should watch it.
