The Passage 2019

Gotta say I’m impressed with Mark Paul-Gosselaar. Not bad for the Saved By The Bell guy. The pilot falls a bit flat at the midpoint and I‘m not sure Fox is a great home for The Passage. Would have loved to see it on AMC or HBO, but hey I‘m glad they are making one of my favorite books into a tv show. As I said Gosselaar shows surprising depth in this role. And the little girl is off to a strong start too. I hope they can keep the show going at this level. Btw, music selection for the show is great!

Ignore the negative reviews... this show is amazing.

Not scary enough to be good horror, and not enough character depth to make a compelling drama. Starts off pretty good, but ends up middle of the road... There's nothing really unique about this show. It's DNA is made up of a fusion of much better horror shows. This has a lot in common with "The Strain", but I'd much rather watch "The Strain" over this. There is a lot of potential here, but instead of taking risks everything is played fairly safe leaving this show one of the most forgettable ones I've seen recently. Also I feel like there was a whole political angle of the plot, from the government experimented on death row inmates to the cure for the plague residing in a orphaned black girl but the politics of the setup are sadly skimmed over and not even briefly acknowledged by the show. All around disappointment.

This show is amazing! At first tho, I was hesitant because ugh its another dang zombie show..... am I right??? Once you get through first episode all you want is more, more, more!!! It is really nice with all the division going on today, I can't believe that anyone wouldn't absolutely love this show! Amy, The Agent, and have me hooked! I hope that she can save the world!!!! (Eventually)

Slow start but gets better after episode 5. People who gave up early are missing out. Only 7 episodes in at the time of writing this review

Vampire type stuff is not my usual fare but I quite enjoyed this series. I would have liked to see the rest of the trilogy, shame it was cancelled.

The synopsis wasn’t really appealing, but I went ahead and gave it a go.

It quickly at the start let’s you know the premise; and I thought oh no, another Van Helsing or The Strain rubbish. But, it’s not.

It’s not the most fantastic show either, but enjoyable, not cheesy, good acting and characters and have taken a different route to those shows above I mentioned.

I’ve only a couple of episodes left of Season One, and was disappointed to see it’s cancelled. Something, we should all be used too...shows constantly being cancelled, yet the awful ones carry on for season after season.

Not phenomenal, but still enjoyable to watch.

This show is not about a virus, it's yet another stupid show about vampires and/or zombies. Pass.

What a great pilot, started off good and became even better by the end of the episode. Definitely gonna watch this whole season in like a week or so, hopefully it gets renewed soon!

It began so good, I thought this is a good show, then I think they did not have any more funds to continue so they just finished it. So the last two episodes are rushed and they don't make sense. It's a waste of time to watch it and after you are so curious to see what will happen it finishes in a flop. If this show continued in it's own time it would have been good.

Although I have finished reading it, the plot is totally uncoordinated and very bad! ! !

A genesis story of an apocalypse. This series strives to harness the "sharply written, deeply humane, ablaze with big ideas" (Jennifer Egan) trilogy of books by Justin Cronin. The characters played by Saniyya Sidney and Mark Paul Gosselaar (who give great performances) are at the heart of this story, as they try to survive an impending evil. The V concept is skirted by calling those infected Virals but we know that this is where the story is going, yet, it is the struggles of the individuals that kept my interested. The first season ends with a clear path of what the next parts will look like but have they captured enough of the human story to keep me interested? It was enough for me to look forward to a second season but can they walk that fragile line without descending into a monster, horror and gore-fest? I give the series a 7 (hopeful) out of 10. [Fantasy Thriller]

I absolutely love this show!!! The Agent and Amy against the world and the infected!!! I'm just glad she has been able to hold off the infected this far! I can't wait to see what happens next to Amy and The Agent. ! I'm so glad that with everything going on in the world The Passage has brought back some really good suspense and action to the small screen!!!! If I could give this show more than a perfect rating I definitely would!!! I've been watching since day one, not missed an episode since and don't ever plan to! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10
