Damn, this episode was very tense and suspenseful. I do think the show is starting to drag out a little, though, but perhaps not in a conventional way. I feel like it may be dragging out to a bigger reveal, slowly sucking you into the slow pacing of things to catch you off guard to a maximum extent when you're in a deep unexpecting state. That reveal could be that there is more than one entity, although there would probably be more to it than that, to make it worthwhile. I'm starting to buy into that theory myself. One of them appears in dreams, and can appear as anyone, but isn't the one that specifically shapeshifts into other people by a scratch. One of them shapeshifts into someone else by a scratch, someone that it scratched, and is the one who does the killing. One of them is El Coco himself, and he absorbs the grief that's caused by the latter one, the one who does the killing. And all three work together, for some reason. Or maybe they're all the same entity, more or less, somehow, they just have different functions, and each one of them has to do whatever their respective trait is, for the combined, one entity to survive. Of course, that's simply my speculation of things. I may have the general theory correct with the details mostly incorrect. As far as the happenings in the show so far go, I'm fairly certain there have been hints or suggestive occurrences that there is more than one entity. Someone more prone to detail and noticing things will have to chime in on that.
Ralph's character not acknowledging how similar the drawings are is frustrating.
Damn. Kusama is top tier anyways, but this is a really superb episode. Tense and spooky. I love this.
My girl Holly is so dead right now.
I’m sorry but ‘El Cuco’ sounds hilarious and I can’t take them seriously, but also ‘El Coco’ or ‘The Boogeyman’ sound ridiculous so yeah I can’t help them.
And I can’t stop laughing at the fact that there are at least EIGHT people involved in the mystery and somehow they had to outsource the investigation to Holly?!??? Don’t get me wrong, she’s great and her way of doing things is interesting and different but you have 4 detectives, 1 lawyer, 1 like private investigator (the man with the mustache), 1 psychologist and 1 grieving widow and still they had to hire someone else to solve this.
And I don’t understand how it works cause lets say is a virus, so the ny woman gave the cocovirus to the dayton nurse by scratching him on the back and the coco version of the dayton nurse gave the cocovirus to Jason Bateman by scratching him on the wrist, so that makes sense except the human woman gave the cocovirus to the human man BUT the coco man gave it to human man Jason, unless the human man nurse had sex with el coco woman? And then I think Coco version of Jason gave the cocovirus to the strip club man? And he’s been slowly losing it, but Jason never lost it, he was always normal so that’s a new symptom? And who gave the cocovirus to Jack (the detective)? And why are his symptoms different? So there’s two different cocovirus? One that clones you and one that posses you?
I wonder how they explained the role to the actor playing Jack when he was cast. It was probably something like: "Okay, so your character's life is gonna suck hard. And then it's gonna get REALLY bad. But at least you'll get to spend quality time with your mom."

Did anyone else get major Pennywise vibes when they heard, "Hey there, Jackie boy!"?
