I might be the only one but i've always loved Elijah and the way he acted. This new Elijah is even more stronger than the old one, but like Klaus said it was all numbers and facts no feelings. I am "afraid" that if his memories ever return that he'll rush back. Also surprised that Klaus lied to Freya about Elijah not being in France, he normally isn't careful about such things
He forgot he is a vampire? Marcel didnt make him do that
Honestly, Elijah is the most dull of the remaining Michelson siblings. So, an Elijah-centric episode? Pretty boring. Yeah, I didn't much care for this one. Let's go back to Klaus and Hope (and Caroline! LOL)
i'm super happy that elijah is finally happy but at the same time sad!
Actually was expecting some serious action from this season. but it is getting me bored.
I would hope that girl has some sense to vampire speed over to him, grab the curtain, and tackle him into the shade. Like WTF Elijah??!!
How did Elijah burn in the sun? I thought he didn’t need a ring?
Since Elijah had his memory wiped by Marcel he has taken on a new persona one that doesn't involve his vow of always and forever. Liberating for his new self, but what will happen when all those past memories come rushing back? Waiting to see how all this plays out.
Can't wait to watch this episode.

Honestly, this entire episode absolutely confirms the comment I wrote before about how it was stupid (if, perhaps, understandable) of Elijah to just let Marcel (who's not the sharpest tool in the shed) mind-wipe him without at least telling him what to say. I mean, yeah, if you make him forget about his family, that includes the fact that he's a vampire, let alone what a vampire is.
Also, I remember how it was in TVD where no one knew what Klaus or Elijah looked like, but you'd think with the events of the last few seasons word might have gotten around - how did no one recognise him apart from Antoinette? I feel in general like neither TVD nor this show ever really dealt with the fact that there are now only two sirelines left. Sure, Finn's probably wasn't that large, and Kol also was daggered for quite a bit of time over the years, but wasn't the whole point of the Stryx that they infiltrated world affairs? Shouldn't someone have noticed that suddenly thousands of people dropped dead? But even apart from all that, how are there still vampires around that don't know who the Mikaelsons are?
Finally, Antoinette's whole shtick about being "mindful and compassionate" seems a bit absurd considering she still kills her victims - whatever happened to "snatch, eat, erase"? If that was supposed to be a way to give her character depth, it failed terribly. I was desperately waiting for a Klausian heart extraction for the last 15 minutes.
On the other hand, this episode contains the most elaborate way to light a box of stuff on fire, so there's that.
