At least they brought back Michael in the end. It was so sad that they didn't even write more lines for him. Such a shame.
This show has one too many seasons, glad they finally put it out of its misery.
Same basic issues of s08, it has no developing story to root for, just a bunch of individual montages put together.
The day they lost Michael (in all it's idiocy), this show went in a coma. And never recovered.
At least they brought back Michael in the end. So sad that they didn't even write more lines for him. Such a shame.
Season 9 is pretty good, but definitely the weakest of the series.
Episodes 17 and 18 are outrageous... back to their best.
The Finale was outstanding.
Without a doubt one of my all-time favourite shows... too bad it took until 2022 to actually start watching it! Fortunately we just binged the entire show over a couple of moths - still the best way to watch a show.
We NEVER watch a series more than once (other than Seinfeld) but I'm sure we'll sit down again and watch The Office in the future. Now off to see if the UK version is any good.

During this last season the fact that for the position of "The Boss" no permanent solution was found, gets a little annoying: we had this scenario in Season 8 already. IMHO this was the reason for some of the weaker episodes.
However, overall this is another great season and especially the awesome Finale made me sad that it is all over now. I think the last episode is one of the best episodes of a sitcom I have ever seen!!!
So this leaves me with the final rating of the whole show I guess: while it cannot quite reach the brilliance of Friends, Scrubs or Big Bang Theory IMHO, The Office is definitively one of my all-time favorite sitcoms.
