Good Drama. Lump in my throat. Good episode. Ok "men are still bad" agenda but nonetheless decent episode. First good one of this season unfortunately.

Almost every single scene in this episode is an absolute showstopper of perfection. Shirley's despair. The hospital chaos. Susie's office chaos. Abe pitching and delivering the obituary. The burlesque. The single shot flee from the police raid. Midge and Lenny. Lenny's show. Lenny's appeal. A+ writing, directing, performances, and the intricacy of the long tracking shots remains jaw-dropping. A phenomenal finale to another season. Really bummed to hear the next one will be the last, because this could run for another decade.

Midge is fucking annoying. Glad someone finally talked some sense into her. This was the only decent episode because there was finally a forward progress. Was getting tired of stale & repetitive nature of this show.

Man, the closing moments of this episode were gorgeous!

The blue hotel room scene is the hottest thing I've seen in years.
