I love all the magic.
Notes
Vex: "Bad dream?"
Lady Allura: "Well, if you'll follow me. Seats for the sovereign's dragon slayers."
Grog: "Percy, I say you just walk over to the Briarwoods, say hello to break the ice, then punch them in the face. See what happens."
Pike: "Grog, no."Deliliah: "But I'm afraid the truth is we concocted that tale to protect their legacy. The sad reality is that the de Rolos abdicated."
Percy: "You."
Review
There we go. I was hoping they would give each character their own arc and I'm glad it's finally happened. Here we go!
7/10

The only part of this episode that was really good was the after dinner entertainment.
Shenanigans usually my favorite part of Critical Role and here it doesn't work as well. Action is certainly fun. Maybe story will work out in the end. I personally only follow Campaign 2 and 3 so I guess there are plenty of twists for every character.
This is obviously, very well made - but it's just not for me. Gave it the 3 episode test but time to move on.
But go off the other reviews and the imdb score, this is generally REALLY well received. Just not my thing. Glad to see Ashley Johnson doing well.
A solid intro, some of which we've seen and some of which we never had the pleasure.
The pacing is quite a bit faster than what I was expecting, but I suppose that was inevitable when the streams tend to be in the 3-4 hour range.
Definitely a lot of fun so far, with Grog and Pike's buddy bit still being my favourite. So glad there are no Blindspots to ruin that dynamic this time around.
Looking forward to a whole hell of a lot more, and soon.

First two episodes were a good into to the group, but this third episode is where it started getting good I think. I don't want to have to wait until the next episodes come out to see what happens!
