The Leftovers: Season 2

2x01 Axis Mundi

the beginning of this episode is mind blowing ... just like season 1 was. this is going to be another masterpiece to follow every week =)

Very interested in all the seeds that have been placed. I know it's a turn off for a lot of people to see mysteries that won't get concrete answers, but I believe those who appreciated Season 1 will be able to appreciate this for what it becomes.

I didn't like this episode.
First of all I don't like this new intro at all D: The last one was good. I know it's probably supposed to be so upbeat to show a contrast to the actual show that's dark and not happy, but still...
And I just watched the finale of season 1, so I was so ready to see these characters again. But the new setting, new characters and new mysteries were unexpected. And I didn't find them that interesting. Actually it was the complete opposite - I was constantly getting distracted and had a hard time staying focused :/ But I don't think it was bad to show us a bit about this new family. The story/pace just wasn't really my cup of tea.

Well, I'll keep watching because it might get interesting again and during that episode the old characters came back which made me pay more attention, so let's see where this is going.

That was... Unexpected.

A change of venue could be interesting but the way it was done felt too sudden. I'm hoping we'll get to see the time when the decision was made or at least explore their reasons a bit.

Other than that, I guess I'll have to wait and see which are the other story arcs being told this season to form an opinion on what was left behind.

Well well I loved the two families already.

Who are all these bad actors?

Un episodio un poco lento hasta el final.

Really great first piece of the puzzle, just brewing tensions and a lot of ambiguity. In hindsight, Evie and her friends are terrifying, especially when they are left alone and noone sees them.

I had no clue Regina King was on this show! So when she came out I was like WOW!
And this episode felt out of a totally different show but I don’t mean it in a bad way, I think it’s a good thing, cause we have such an immense universe where this catastrophic event impacted everyone in the world in a different way that staying just in the same town with the same people would be selfish and a lost opportunity, can’t wait to keep watching!!
The new intro is amazing!!
And I wonder which family is the craziest? The one with a dad who goes around burning houses or the one who goes around abducting people from a cult and taking them to remote cabins just for them to kill themselves??? We’ll just have to wait and see!

that opening was amazing -- the flow of the episode that follows felt fresh, new, and exciting
