Another fine but unspectacular episode. Mark Cuban doesn't quite have the acting chops to pull of a comedy bit like his opening "gloves off" insult barrage of Trump. But Colbert was in good form. His man on the street "Trump or False" questions were amusing enough and it's fun to see him out in the wild. Also his monologue started out fairly nondescript, but once he got into his extended riff on Mike Pence, things really picked up. Some snarky if good-natured burns to be sure ("a jar of mayonnaise struck by lightning") but some amusing insights as well.

I skipped past the interviews, except for Lewis Black, who still had a few funny lines, but almost seemed out of sorts out there. I hope he's okay. Colbert still had a good rapport with him, but he didn't seem all there necessarily.

Overall, some solid laughs, but nothing over the top beyond the Pence-related humor.
