Incredible show. Very interesting characters with fleshed out storylines. Fantastic actors, I honestly can't remember one actor that didn't do a good job. And as a medic, I absolutely loved the attention to details.
Sadly, by the last few episodes you can notice a few rushed decisions and storylines that don't make sense. You can tell they were trying to end it. It's too bad it wasn't more popular, but I can tell you the quality of the show was not to blame.
This is by far on my top favorite tv show list! It is the only reason I would ever pay for Cinemax. Being in the medical field, I love anything to do with it and though their history is a little off, it's still amazing to watch and see how things were done 100 years ago. A definite must watch!
Love this show! Really makes me appreciate advancements in technology and in medicine even more. It's good TV.
I cannot believe they canceled this show after two seasons! WTF! This is a great, well-thought out, dark drama. -_- wow, I'm just amazed at how LAME networks can be.
Was disappointed when Soderburgh decided to put away his directors chair. Fearing he'd be relegated to the great movie directors of the past but judging by his outstanding work on this show he has an even greater chance of becoming the best tv director of the future. This show oozes atmosphere and corruption whilst giving "Hannibal" a run in the squeamish stakes.
One of the best shows that I watched in these last years. Discovering how life and medicine were back in the 1900s was amazing and the high quality of the settings and the acting makes the show remarkable.
Special mention to Clive Owen and Steven Soderbergh! Probably this show wouldn't have been the same without them!
Reading that the show was CANCELLED after season 2 is so heartbreaking!
The last few years has been great for historicals and The Knick is no exception. One of my favorites of the year with a very interesting plot. The history itself isn't very accurate but the medical procedures, for the most part, are and it's interesting to see the characters develop in the way they are.
This is gorgeous, if you haven't watched it then you should absolutely do it!
It's pretty good, though at times it's hard to stay awake while watching it.
Reminds me of the House MD, but still a really enjoyable show.
I had very high expectations - Clive Owen is awesome, but sorry - the show just bores me to death.

The better House, MD. Bit sad, they stopped so early, but better than flushing this show down the toilet like Dr. House.
I like the concept of the show, but don't think it's executed in the right way. There's some episodes that are good and others that are bad. I think, the series gives more useless information and less action.
I'm 4 episodes in, I might be speaking prematurely.

Great script, actors, design, music, direction... I only wish they spared us the gory details. The shots are way to long, and I don't really need to see it.

One of the rare gems of true beauty. All parts - acting, directing, pictures, music, story writing, montage - works perfectly to create a incredible show. Intense and intelligent, better to enjoy in small portions through longer period of time as binge watching this one will leave you brain dead ;-)
