I could go on and on about how incredible all the women on this show are. From Elisabeth Moss to Yvonne Strahovski (sadly missing from this episode) to Alexis Bledel to Ann Dowd, it's just pure acting excellence all around. They elevate the show with their talent and the sheer brilliance of their performances never fails to amaze me. They deserve all the awards and then some for portraying such complex characters and making it look easy.
I'm enjoying June's arc and the way all the fucks have gone out the window at this point. She doesn't care anymore, she's determined to rebel against Gilead in whatever way she can. It's interesting to see a little bit more of how the Marthas' network operates. Also I have to admit the whole system of categorizing women is confusing to me. We know that fertile "criminals" are forced to become Handmaids, so I assume Marthas are the infertile "criminals"? What about unmarried fertile women who haven't "sinned" in the eyes of Gilead? Are they free to marry and become Econowives? We need a guide here.
Emily's reunion with her wife! My entire heart! Alexis Bledel is everything.
"Their poor sweet baby, wherever she is. I can't imagine what came over Ofjoseph."
"I am Ofjoseph."
How poetic, I love it.
Man, every time I see Emily I can't help but think about how she's missing her clitorus and then I feel sad.
So, when Moira escaped, Luke got an alert because he tagged her as family. Moira didn't need to call him. But here, Emily is the one who needs to call her wife. Em's wife didn't tag Em as family then? Or that alert thing is only for refugees? But then why is Luke worried about June not calling him? He would get an alert of her arrival surely?
Something dark about Lawrence… like a barrel of explosives in the middle of a forest fire.
Also: “my cholesterol is high. It’s probably the reason and butter.”
“Here have some fish and wine, it’s good for that.”
3 minutes later: “there’s apple pie” Yeah let’s have some more bread and butter shall we!

I wanna say I hope people wouldn't hate Luke for what happened in this episode, his reaction is totally understandable, and I'm so happy when he finally carried baby Nicole-altho I'm curious what their reaction would be if they knew Nicole was the name Serena chosed and not June, lol-but then again, remember when people were angry at Eden because she was forced to marry Nick and made some sort of distance between June and Nick?
When June buried that dead body, that's the most intense scene on this episode. I mean I understand that June wanted to use Lawrance's power to make his place some sort of safe haven, but then again he's right, sometimes June bite more than she can chew. Even a Commander is not immune to punishment. But it got me thinking about Lawrance's wife tho, she's more than meet the eyes and I can't wait to see what happen next
And also, not to be that person, but damn, Lawrance's backyard is totally the opposite from the Waterford's. Serena would have a hysterical fit or something if she sees it
The part where Emily went to the optometrist and we saw her vision, I'm crying, and then I'm wailing when she called her wife. And this also reminds me to check my cholesterol and eyes
