Very much felt like an old top gear special. Great episode.
I’m sorry but this was boring as hell.
Decent, if it was a "one out of 10 episodes this season" I'd say it was an enjoyable simple trek. But as a 1 episode a year, it's quite weak.
It's felt like years between the last Special and this one, but it was worth the wait. Whilst clearly they had to make some cut backs and restrictions to what we are used to from them, less grandeur than usual, but still a great episode, the boys are back on form and picked up straight where they left off.
My proper laugh out loud moment .. when May got washed away by the contents of his caravan :laughing: .
Have a feeling it will be another long wait until the next one, but ready for it. :)
5.5/10 - The scenery, cinematography (not sure about the retro looks but it was fine), and music are nice but the rest is unfortunately pretty meh. Three rich idiots who destroy lots of things - including cars, unfortunately... :o
Abbie is back though! :) Unfortunately just for a few seconds but I was very excited/happy nonetheless. I wish she had more screentime. (That medical mask on her helmet was fun btw.) ((And I hope that Abbie has recovered from her injury by now. I need to catch up but it doesn't look that good given that I didn't notice a new YT video from/about her in my YouTube feed.))
The Mustang and Camaro are indeed very beautiful and surely awesome cars (I'd definitely like to try them out).
It was also fun/entertaining at times but I wish it would be less idiotic / more serious. Messing around is fine but it shouldn't feel in your face stupid and I don't like to see cars getting destroyed, etc.
When Jeremy pointed out to Hammond and May how Mr. Wilman's laptop had the keys A, N and L almost fully worn out.... :rofl: :smiling_imp:
I thought the whole bridge bit at the end was hilarious
